Role and Responsibility: Sam is responsible for policy analysis, marketing, claims support, and contract review for Executive Liability Coverages. He assists in the evaluation, placement, and servicing of Management, Professional, and related lines of coverage. This includes D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Fidelity, Cyber, E&O and Financial Institution Bonds.

Experience: Sam Stern focuses his practice in the area of private and public company Management & Professional Liability insurance for large and complex commercial risks in such industries as Financial Services, Real Estate, Legal Services, and Healthcare. He provides legal, financial, technical, and qualitative risk analysis to clients and assists in routine transactional work such as certificates of insurance, bonding, and marketing of insurance. Mr. Stern provides consulting services on litigation risks, insurance market trends, insurance product differentiation, and insurance company performance. Mr. Stern earned his B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University in 2004, his J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2010, and is a member of the Georgia Bar in good standing. Sam Stern has been a member of J. Smith Lanier & Co.’s Executive Risks Unit since 2007 and a licensed broker since 2006.
